Andrea Patel, RNC-NIC

Nurse

Andrea joined the Clinic for Special Children in 2025 as a Nurse. In this role, Andrea assists in rooming and assessing patients, health record documentation, phlebotomy, telephone triage, and care coordination. She also participates in research projects and laboratory initiatives at the Clinic.

Before joining the Clinic, Andrea worked as a Registered Nurse in hospital settings, specializing in neonatal and pediatric care.

In her free time, she likes to travel, go to the gym, read, and go for walks.

Why are you passionate about the Clinic?

The Clinic has been there for one of my family members who has Maple Syrup Urine Disease (MSUD) and her family. Coming from the hospital setting, I feel like the Clinic represents what health care should be…personalized, supportive, efficient, effective, and excellent at what we do.
