DESCRIPTION:Come join us in Lancaster City’s Penn Square to talk with our staff and take home a FREE whoopie pie!\n  \n\n\nThe countdown to the 2018 Extraordinary Give is on! SUMMARY:The Night Before Christmas Train | Strasburg Rail Road
DESCRIPTION:A Christmas Classic Train Benefiting the Clinic!\nSparkling skies\, warmth from a potbelly stove\, the aroma of freshly baked cookies\, and magic in the air. Returning again this year\, the popular Night Before Christmas Train runs on select Wednesday\, Thursday\, and Friday evenings during the holiday season.  A portion of proceeds collected from the sale of Night Before Christmas Train tickets is donated annually to the Clinic for Special Children. \nThis very unique and special train recreates the excitement and anticipation of Christmas Eve. A reader dressed in a Victorian nightshirt and cap will read Clement Clarke Moore’s classic poem\, The Night Before Christmas\, as the train rolls along. After the reading of the poem\, passengers can enjoy a treat of milk and cookies. \nFollowing the train ride\, children are also treated to storybook readings of holiday classics aboard our heated Caboose (stationary) and visitors of all ages can enjoy a ride aboard the Tinsel Trolley\, a self-propelled motor car. \nIn the spirit of the season\, children and their families are encouraged to come dressed in pajamas\, and just by attending this event\, your participation helps a very worthy cause. A portion of proceeds collected from the sale of The Night Before Christmas Train tickets will be donated to support the work of the Clinic for Special Children. \nSpecial thanks to Turkey Hill Dairy\, Hershey Farm Restaurant & Inn\, Kitchen Kettle Village and Lancaster County Career & Technology Center\, in-kind sponsors for the 2018 Night Before Christmas Train. \nPurchase tickets now through Strasburg Railroad!
